The patient was struck by a motor vehicle on North Avenue. Melody Pacheco265 viewsOn March 17 family, friends, and co-workers came out in force to beep and wave at retiring Mattapoisett Town Hall employee Melody Pacheco, who ended her 35-year career after serving in a variety of capacities, including assistant to the town administrator, for over a decade. Well over 100 people of all ages enjoyed the opportunity to visit with and learn about exotic animals. The younger members of the crowd listened intently as they heard about the eating habits and habitats of bearded dragons, Nigerian goats, lop-eared rabbits, tortoises, and alpacas, for which the farm is known.
