AFS Club International dinner339 viewsOld Rochester Regional High School’s AFS Club held an international dinner in the cafeteria on Sunday evening. Students, parents, and community members were invited to bring a dish from another culture to share, so everyone could enjoy a unique and delicious meal. Upward of 50 people attended, including 12 foreign-exchange students in the SouthCoast area representing such countries as Japan, China, Thailand, Germany, Denmark, and Costa Rica. The Lions were collecting non-perishable food and unwrapped new toys to distribute to those in need during the holiday. Sippican Schooner 5k and Mini Fun Run 339 views Sunday, May 4 was a perfect day for a fun run through Marion, and about 200 people turned out to participate in VASE’s second annual Sippican Schooner 5k and Mini Fun Run to raise money for educational programs at Sippican Elementary School.
