Hundreds upon hundreds of little ghosts, ghouls, and goblins took to the streets to show off their costumes and follow it up with some treats (no tricks) and refreshments at the Marion Music Hall, sponsored by those very kind witches at the Marion Art Center. Osprey Rescue289 viewsThe Osprey who was impaled by fishing hooks and left dangling from a power line has been released. Several weeks ago, an adult Osprey was found dangling from a power line in Mattapoisett. He was 20 feet up and had one end of a fishing lure through his foot and the other end lodged deep into his left pectoral muscle. The entanglement caused him to become stuck upside down on the line and he was left struggling to free himself. After a significant rescue effort, he was brought to our hospital for treatment.

Later while walking through the park, she happened upon the result of the children’s activity, a pair of “snow spirit” sculptures. “The sculptures were so cute and seemed to be watching over the park bench that is dedicated to Ellen Flynn's parents,” wrote Cabral. We took a close look at barrier beaches, vernal pools, salt marshes, and tide pools.
