Marion Natural History Museum353 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum's after-school group learned about the science of flight, including balance, weight, and reduction of drag with Dr. William Dills. We had many happy successful lift offs and attained some very impressive heights, thanks to the rocket scientists present. The Museum wishes to thank Dr. Dills and the volunteers who helped to make this another successful program, the final program of the school calendar year.

At Silvershell Beach in Marion, the Marion Recreation Department provided an array of food, fun, and games for beachgoers, and in Mattapoisett, kids enjoyed face painting, sack races, and, of course, plenty of sun. Harbor Days 353 viewsHarbor Days came to Mattapoisett this past weekend, and many visitors were gracious enough to spin The Wanderer Wheel for a $1 donation to the Lions Club. Those who played helped raise an extra $523 the Lions Club will use to benefit the community. Tour de Crème 353 viewsSunday, May 23, was the second annual Tour de Crème hosted by the Mattapoisett Land Trust and the Friends of the Mattapoisett Bike Path.
