After warming up with hot cider and cookies, we walked along Joanne Drive, stopping to sing Christmas carols for many of the residents. Mattapoisett Boatyard Fire403 viewsSmoke rose over Mattapoisett Harbor on August 19 after a boat caught fire during the replacement of a gasoline tank. An explosion followed by a raging fire leveled Mattapoisett Boatyard and destroyed the 14 boats and 47 vehicles on site.
