Bike Safety Day754 viewsThe Marion Police Department sponsored a Bicycle Safety Day for children and young adults at Silvershell Beach on Saturday morning, August 2. The day included bicycle safety information, a rodeo course and certificate awards for all participants. In addition, the Marion Police Department was awarded a statewide grant by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security to provide 75 bicycle helmets during the event. In Dorset, the group had an exquisite luncheon at the over 200-year-old award winning, traditional New England inn.
