Drama teacher Mark Howland wrote and directed “Human Geometry,” which focused on how mathematical concepts can be used to understand human relationships. Audiences can look forward to another fall production, “Bang Bang You’re Dead,” opening Thursday, November 12, at 7:30 pm at the Will Parker Black Box Theatre. 5th Annual 5K Turkey Trot378 viewsThere were 31 registered runners for this year’s 5th Annual 5K Turkey Trot for Marion Recreation on Sunday, November 22. The course takes runners from Tabor Academy down Front Street through the village and back again to Tabor. Rochester Christmas Tree Lighting378 viewsRochester held its annual tree lighting on Monday night, December 7, in front of the Town Hall. Hundreds attended and greeted jolly old Saint Nick as he rode in on the town’s new yellow fire tower truck. Tour de Crème378 viewsThe Mattapoisett Land Trust in tandem with the Mattapoisett Bike Path Committee held its first Tour de Crème on Sunday, May 22. The fundraiser brought groups on three different courses – 13-, 25-, and 48-miles long – winding their way through area towns and making stops at various local ice cream parlors.
