RMS Concert412 viewsOn June 10, RMS hosted the 23rd annual concert, a partnership between elementary and middle schools in Martha’s Vineyard and Rochester Memorial. The concert band contained 150 musicians. Those who played helped raise an extra $523 the Lions Club will use to benefit the community. Annual Turkey Trot 5K 412 viewsThe Annual Turkey Trot 5K wound its way through Marion Village on Sunday, November 17, with 182 trotters (and some ‘turkeys’ as well) braving a chilling wind that morning to make it to the finish line. Organized by the Marion Recreation Department, the event every year draws quite a flock of runners to the start and finish line at Tabor Academy, raising funds for Marion Rec programs and events. Since Amos is a trained therapy dog and he loves kids and books, he decided to hold an event at the Plumb Library on Thursday, January 12.
