Library Henna323 viewsThe Elizabeth Taber Library hosted a henna tattoo program for teens, with each guest receiving their own henna creation by professional henna artist Heather Cault-Nulton. The art of henna dates back thousands of years and has recently grown in popularity. As part of a new initiative to draw teens into the library, the afternoon henna event was held on March 1 and attracted 13 area teens to experience the beauty of henna. Photos by Colin Veitch

ORR Jazz323 viewsJazz Night, featuring a variety of solo performances by ORRHS jazz musicians, proved why they have earned several awards this year including a bronze award during the Berklee High School Jazz Festival. You can see them on May 12 at 7:00 pm at ORRHS during their spring concert and at the Rotch-Jones-Duff House in New Bedford on May 24 at 7:00 pm during an evening of high school jazz performances from area schools. Sunday, May 29, was a picture perfect day for a parade. At the Town Hall, the names of the fallen soldiers were read aloud and the Rochester Memorial School Band played patriotic songs before heading out for the parade. Photos by Colin Veitch
