None of her three matches lasted more than 30 seconds as she ran through the competition. Alyssa won all her matches by Ippon, which is similar to a knockout in boxing. The Democratic ticket of Obama/Biden won with a majority 56 percent of the vote (239), while the Republican ticket of McCain/Palin garnered only 42 percent (180 votes).
