Coming in 1st place in the men’s division was Brian Hughes with a time of 51:38 minutes. The pop-up sale at the clubhouse, 152 Front Street, is held on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the proceeds funding Marion student scholarships. The Illuminate to Educate fundraiser replaces the Holiday House Tour that was cancelled due to COVID-19. The Marion community is encouraged to light up our streets in celebration of Independence Day Holiday.

We took a close look at barrier beaches, vernal pools, salt marshes, and tide pools. Sippican Elementary Car Wash416 viewsSippican Elementary sixth graders turned Saturday's car wash into a fire engine wash, creating a waterfall of suds and having the kind of fun kids normally associate with what happens on the weekends before school is back in session. Organized by Volunteers at Sippican Elementary (VASE), the school's 501(c)(3) non-profit parent-teacher organization, the event held at the Marion school's bus loop off Main Street raised money for the students' mountain classroom trip, a three-day excursion planned for June 20
