Hundreds attended and greeted jolly old Saint Nick as he rode in on the town’s new yellow fire tower truck. Miss Inspirational390 viewsThe Miss Inspirational program took to the ORR stage and stole the show on Friday, May 6, during a packed auditorium assembled to see 29 young women of all abilities showcase their talents and accomplishments. Miss South Coast, Jillian Zucco, coordinated the fundraising event as part of her progress towards the upcoming Miss Massachusetts pageant. “Q” and “U” 390 viewsDeborah Bacciocchi’s kindergarten class at RMS celebrated a wedding of “Q” and “U” on May 16. The bride (a wooden letter "Q") wore a gown sewn with pieces from Bacchiocchi’s wedding gown and the groom wore mixed media/Sharpie formalwear. Tour de Crème390 viewsThe Mattapoisett Land Trust in tandem with the Mattapoisett Bike Path Committee held its first Tour de Crème on Sunday, May 22. The fundraiser brought groups on three different courses – 13-, 25-, and 48-miles long – winding their way through area towns and making stops at various local ice cream parlors.
