Hundreds upon hundreds of little ghosts, ghouls, and goblins took to the streets to show off their costumes and follow it up with some treats (no tricks) and refreshments at the Marion Music Hall, sponsored by those very kind witches at the Marion Art Center. Flynn said that the event brought in more than $6,000 - monies that are earmarked for their scholarship fund. She said visitors were awed by the gardens graciously opened for viewing from iconic harbor homes to those set in peaceful rural uplands along the Mattapoisett River Valley. Early Voting421 viewsThe Town of Marion’s 2,430 early-voting ballots sit on a table in the office of Town Clerk Lissa Magauran on Monday morning, ready to be removed from their envelopes and processed. The early ballots represent 56 percent of the town’s 4,374 registered voters. As of October 30, another 100 requested early ballots had gone unreturned.
