Waterman school, which was in the building that now houses the Rochester Fire Department, was the forerunner to RMS during the first half of the Twentieth Century. Children and their grandparents had fun playing bean-bag toss, bocce, posing with the Three Stooges, and more. The face-painting and petting zoo areas were a complete hit! The tavern was decked out with themed trees, including a Barbie tree, a Hannukah tree, a Mallard duck tree, and even a tree decorated with recycled items like bottles and plastic bags. Helping Hands and Hooves453 viewsHelping Hands and Hooves, a Mattapoisett-based non-profit organization in the area of Aucoot Cove, gives horseback riding lessons to disabled people in the Southcoast region.
