Commander Michael Lamoureux served as emcee of the event while State Representative William Straus, Selectman Paul Silva, Veterans’ Agent Barry Denham and U.S. Navy Lieutenant Scott Burrill addressed the audience. The plastic lawn ornaments are the Old Rochester Regional High School Cheerleaders' latest and most creative fundraiser. For $25, residents can have a friend's house decorated, or "flocked" with lawn flamingos. All money collected through the flocking will be used to send the squad to Walt Disney World in February.
