Seniors Appreciation at Center School350 viewsOne of the highlights of the third-grade school year, students dressed up as famous Americans and treated senior citizens from the Council on Aging to a senior citizen appreciation breakfast the morning of June 6. Mattapoisett Historical Museum Photos350 viewsThe Mattapoisett Historical Museum is in possession of hundreds of photographs dating from the 1800s to as recently as the 1980s bearing images of people and places from Mattapoisett, but lacking identification. In their latest exhibit, the museum is asking the public to help solve the mystery each of the pictures represents. Each black and white or colorized image is a mini-mystery waiting to be solved. Classic Cars350 viewsClassic car enthusiasts from the area gathered Monday nights throughout the summer, riding up in their shiny antique cars and pulling up a lawn chair to sit back and reminisce about the good old days to the sounds of music from the ‘50s and ‘60s.
