Antique Car Show410 views It was a great turnout for the Agawam’s 3rd Annual Antique Car Show at Washburn Park in Marion on Saturday, August 29. Classic car entrants signed their antique automobiles up for a chance to win first, second, or third place in the show. The sponsoring group, Agawam Chapter No. 121 Order of the Eastern Star, uses the proceeds from the event to benefit various charities the group supports. Summer Days410 views Buzzards Bay was active this past Labor Day weekend with boaters and residents out enjoying the late summer weather on this unofficial last weekend of the summertime season. The colors of summer will soon shift to the colors of fall in the harbor, but not before a few more opportunities to take out those kayaks and sailboats with friends and family. Six groups of 2-3 students designed their own cranes, motors, and pulley systems using only a set limited supply of materials. Waddles410 views‘Waddles’ the cat gave birth on Saturday, April 23, to the largest litter of kittens that Pamela Robinson, owner of It’s All About the Animals cat shelter in Rochester, had ever seen. Robinson and the vet delivered a whopping litter of 12 kittens, with 10 surviving the birth. The average litter is four kittens. Photo by Jean Perry
