Hot-To-Trot Dog Walk434 viewsOn November 30, a spring-like winter’s day, the Sippican Lands Trust held its 2nd annual Hot-To-Trot Post-Thanksgiving Day dog walk. About 12 dogs of all shapes and sizes brought their humans out for a guided tour of the White Eagle property located off Route 6 in Marion. Dogs received stylish orange neckerchiefs and dog treats. Breakfast with Santa434 viewsMarion’s Police Brotherhood held its 3rd annual toy drive and pancake breakfast with Santa at Sippican School on December 6. Families were asked to bring new unwrapped toys, and in return they were given a delicious pancake breakfast and a photo with Santa. Marion Natural History Museum434 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum wishes to thank the Marion Harbormaster's office for a wonderful trip to Bird Island. The students were able to visit the island and see some of the birds that rely on this special habitat for raising their young. The children saw Oystercatchers, Osprey, and Terns. They also learned a little about the history of the lighthouse.
