Hundreds attended and greeted jolly old Saint Nick as he rode in on the town’s new yellow fire tower truck. Special Olympics Young Athletes435 viewsRoughly 120 Tabor Academy students volunteered on January 10 to assist with the school’s first session of the Special Olympics Young Athletes™ program held at Tabor. The program offers children ages 3-7 with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to engage in physical activities vital to mental and physical growth. Spearheaded by Math teacher Tim Cleary and Tabor senior Molly Bent, sessions continue January 17 to March 6 (no session February 7) at 2:00 pm at the Fish Center for Athletics

Waddles435 views‘Waddles’ the cat gave birth on Saturday, April 23, to the largest litter of kittens that Pamela Robinson, owner of It’s All About the Animals cat shelter in Rochester, had ever seen. Robinson and the vet delivered a whopping litter of 12 kittens, with 10 surviving the birth. The average litter is four kittens. Photo by Jean Perry

Sunday, May 29, was a picture perfect day for a parade.
