Christmas Baskets473 viewsOn Tuesday, December 20, Rochester Facilities Manager Andrew Daniel was tying perfect Christmas bows to top off gift baskets for Rochester families purchased with donations from Town Hall staff and town boards and committees. Four families this year will receive a Christmas meal in a basket thanks to the efforts of all at Town Hall. Altogether $1,400 was raised at Town Hall, with half going to the gift baskets and the other half towards other town Christmas charities. Photos by Jean Perry

Memorial Day473 viewsThe rain cancelled the parade and forced the Memorial Day observance indoors on Monday, but many gathered to honor our fallen soldiers and their families inside Center School. Keynote speaker Commander Bryan D. Williams gave a heartfelt speech, while George Randall recited the Gettysburg Address to mark the 100th anniversary of when his father, Jeremiah, first read it on Memorial Day in 1917 at the age of 15.
