National Night Out474 viewsThe Tri-Town’s inaugural edition of National Night Out drew a big and enthusiastic crowd on Tuesday. Residents watched the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department’s Ken Ballinger demonstrate K-9 tactics, got a feel for SWAT, EMS, and Fire vehicles; and enjoyed pizza and ice cream. AFS Club International dinner474 viewsOld Rochester Regional High School’s AFS Club held an international dinner in the cafeteria on Sunday evening. Students, parents, and community members were invited to bring a dish from another culture to share, so everyone could enjoy a unique and delicious meal. Upward of 50 people attended, including 12 foreign-exchange students in the SouthCoast area representing such countries as Japan, China, Thailand, Germany, Denmark, and Costa Rica.
