Marion Art Center Show440 viewsThe Marion Art Center unveiled its new show in a special opening reception at the gallery on Friday, January 11. The 2013 Winter Members Exhibition features over 60 works by about 30 local artists, some well-known and some new to the local art scene. Annual Turkey Dinner440 viewsLast Saturday over one hundred seniors enjoyed the annual turkey dinner with all the trimmings sponsored by the Mattapoisett Lions Club. Several of our volunteers also delivered meals to those seniors that could not attend. Music and laughter filled Raynard Hall at the Congregational Church. The event was chaired by Lions Joe and Janet Rego and the Boy Scouts did outstanding work serving the seniors and helping with clean up.
