Extreme Engineering364 viewsOn Tuesday, July 31, dozens of curious students gathered at the Mattapoisett Library to join Dr. Martin Hudis in his Extreme Engineering program. The students participated in a variety of different exercises using remote controlled helicopters in a hands-on approach to learn valuable lessons in math and science. Summer Reading Play364 viewsOn Friday, August 3, members of the Mattapoisett Library Summer Reading Program presented their final play of the season in their outdoor theater on the Library’s lawn. Marion Art Center Show364 viewsThe Marion Art Center unveiled its new show in a special opening reception at the gallery on Friday, January 11. The 2013 Winter Members Exhibition features over 60 works by about 30 local artists, some well-known and some new to the local art scene.
