Family Fun Festival 370 viewsFamilies came out in record numbers to enjoy the 4th Annual Fall Free Family Fun Festival sponsored by the Mattapoisett’s Lion Club on October 19 held at Shipyard Park. Bruce Rocha of the club estimated attendance at over 400. Kids and adults alike enjoyed free face painting, bowling with pumpkins, a corn hole toss, snacks, hayrides to Ned’s Point and, yes, free pumpkins to take home. Celebrate the World370 viewsThe "Celebrate the World" performance by Rochester Memorial School fourth-graders took place on January 23. The show was a creative, educational collaboration between grade 4 teachers, music teachers Sue Audette and Chris Williamson, and art teacher Joanne Smith. Quoting RMS Principal Derek Medeiros: "This grade 4 production is a wonderful representation of our goal to ensure global experiences for our students through our strategic and school improvement plans.
