Rochester Bakery Fire472 viewsA fire on July 28, 2011 completely gutted the Rochester Bakery and Cafe, located at 28 Marion Road in Rochester. Rochester, Mattapoisett, Marion and Acushnet fire departments responded to the conflagration. Octopurr Fest470 viewsIt’s All About the Animals held its 5th annual Octopurr Fest on October 6. The fundraiser featured food, games, music, and craft booths. Owner and operator of the no-kill shelter, Pam Robinson, said 100 percent of all proceeds would go directly to the care of the felines.
