In the department’s 10th year walking, the participants raised $8,500, the largest amount raised to date as they symbolized the extra weight of living with Multiple Sclerosis. Rochester Memorial Day Boat Race98 viewsCompetitors in the Rochester Memorial Day Boat Race were greeted by fog and a high tide, but the sun burned through the cloud cover, and the competitors emerged on the home stretch to the finish line where the Mattapoisett River reaches Route 6. Rochester’s Memorial Day98 viewsStudent participation was at the forefront of Rochester’s Memorial Day weekend ceremonies held on Sunday at the Senior Center, Town Hall and Daggett Square.
