Plumb Library229 viewsAfter Plumb Library's summer program participants reported their accomplishments, all 4,000 squares of the StickTogether mosaic were filled with color tiles, and the mystery image, a chameleon, was uncovered. Santa Arrives228 viewsThe Town of Rochester wasn’t able to host its traditional Christmas celebration this year, but the Fire Department made sure that Santa and Mrs. Claus and Sparky visited with children on Sunday outside Town Hall, where Board of Selectmen Chairman Paul Ciaburri presided over the lighting of the tree. Ciaburri was thrilled to report that the Christmas Angels, run by Lorraine Thompson with volunteers from the Council on Aging, the public library, local businesses, schools, and churches haven’t missed a beat.

The country fair committee held a tractor pull/swap fundraiser on April 29. Those who attended got an early taste of the sights, sounds, and smells of the Rochester Country Fair with dirt flying, engines blasting, and diesel smoke billowing up into the air. Pan-Mass Challenge226 viewsCalib LaRue and Andrew Reveill were riders in the Pan-Mass Challenge and wanted to do something special for the neighborhood kids and have them ride around the neighborhood together before they left for their ride.
