SouthCoast Working Dog Club280 viewsThe SouthCoast Working Dog Club held a three-day Schutzhund trial at the Rochester Country Fairgrounds on May 27-29. The event is a competition in training, tracking, obedience, and protection for working breeds of dogs. Rochester Memorial Day280 viewsRochester fared far better with its Memorial Day celebration than Marion and Mattapoisett did with theirs on rainy Monday. Sunday, May 29, was a picture perfect day for a parade. At the Town Hall, the names of the fallen soldiers were read aloud and the Rochester Memorial School Band played patriotic songs before heading out for the parade. Photos by Colin Veitch
