Rochester Tractor Pull343 viewsIf you were anywhere near the Rochester Country Fair grounds on Saturday, you heard the familiar sounds of revving tractor engines echoing throughout the town. The country fair committee held a tractor pull/swap fundraiser on April 29. Those who attended got an early taste of the sights, sounds, and smells of the Rochester Country Fair with dirt flying, engines blasting, and diesel smoke billowing up into the air. Grandparent's Day342 viewsIt was a perfect autumn day for the SouthCoast Senior Resource Alliance Grandparents Day at Hiller Farm in Rochester on September 19. Children and their grandparents had fun playing bean-bag toss, bocce, posing with the Three Stooges, and more. The face-painting and petting zoo areas were a complete hit! Most importantly, the free event provided information to seniors on health services available in the SouthCoast area. Photo by Anne OBrien-Kakley
