Cottage Restored341 viewsA family has restored an old 1925 stone cottage on Snipatuit Pond in Rochester to its original state, and owner Andrea King gave a presentation on the restoration process to the Rochester Historical Society who got to see step by step how the King family, living in the U.S. Virgin Islands, brought the little cottage back to life to make it their second home. Children and their grandparents had fun playing bean-bag toss, bocce, posing with the Three Stooges, and more. The face-painting and petting zoo areas were a complete hit!
