Leaving Portland, Oregon on May 2, the two childhood friends arrived at Buteyne’s parents’ driveway about a month earlier than anticipated, greeted by family, friends, confetti, cookies, and of course, hugs. Summer Reading Program420 viewsPlumb Library had a party on Saturday, September 15, 2012, to celebrate the success of its summer reading program, "Dream Big: Read." They did a different style of program this year which was open to students and their families, as well as their teachers. Students chose their own books and logged their hours a website.
