Billy Joel Tribute 505 views“Falling of the Rain,” may not be the biggest hit of Billy Joel produced but the Billy Joel Tribute at Silvershell beach on Saturday had no shortage of falling rain. Dozens of die hard supporters showed up despite the rain to help support the Marion Police Brotherhood and to hear the “Eric Robert: Billy Joel Tribute.” It must be true, “you can’t stop the falling of the rain!” or stop the fans. Sippican Schooner 5k and Mini Fun Run 505 views Sunday, May 4 was a perfect day for a fun run through Marion, and about 200 people turned out to participate in VASE’s second annual Sippican Schooner 5k and Mini Fun Run to raise money for educational programs at Sippican Elementary School. VASE member Diana Martin organized the event, with the support of about 12 volunteers who assisted that morning in making sure the two races went off without a hitch. Photo by Felix Perez
