Marion Art Center Show528 viewsThe Marion Art Center unveiled its new show in a special opening reception at the gallery on Friday, January 11. The 2013 Winter Members Exhibition features over 60 works by about 30 local artists, some well-known and some new to the local art scene. This is the first of two bi-annual shows that showcase work by members of MAC, from oil paintings to multi-media. Check out some of the great art work being created by Tri-Town artists. Bird Island Trip528 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum after-school group enjoyed another perfect trip to Bird Island with the Marion Harbormaster’s Department. The students saw the arrival of some of the first terns back to the island, along with a couple of Oystercatchers and their eggs.
