Bandleader Chris Williamson, along with teachers and Principal Derek Medeiros, sent the students on their way with the traditional rousing music. Tabor Gateways414 viewsTabor Academy has welcomed 35 students from China and those of Chinese heritage from other English-speaking countries for two three-week sessions of Tabor Gateways. The students, entering grades 8-11 will be at Tabor from July 15-August 17. The shows start at 7:30 pm at Tabor’s Fireman Center for the Performing Arts in Hoyt Hall at 245 Front Street, Marion. Multicultural Festival 413 viewsThe local AFS (American Field Service) held a multicultural festival on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Center School in Mattapoisett. The festival included several stations that displayed information about different cultures from around the world. Exchange students from Thailand, Panama and Northern Germany also enjoyed the festivities.
