National Merit Scholarship Program437 viewsBishop Stang High School, a diocesan, co-educational, college preparatory school located on the Southcoast, has announced that three seniors have been commended in the 2014 National Merit Scholarship Program – Lorenzo Dube, Regina Kaplan and Alexander Pacheco.
This year’s commended students were notified and recognized by the faculty, staff and students at Bishop Stang High School. Lorenzo Dube is a Dartmouth resident, Regina Kaplan lives in Mattapoisett and Alexander Pacheco is from Westport.

Tuckerfest437 viewsOn Saturday, Tabor Academy hosted the first annual Tuckerfest, a fundraiser honoring Tucker Francis whose life was cut short while diving during the school’s Caribbean Studies program on January 31, 2017. Sharing the Harvest437 viewsOn September 25, 70 Old Hammondtown School 6th-graders went to "Sharing the Harvest," a volunteer-staffed farm at the Dartmouth YMCA that grows and distributes fresh food to local food banks. Students processed thousands of pounds of butternut squash, prepared seedling trays, planted garlic for next year's harvest, and unearthed sweet potatoes, despite the rain. The shows start at 7:30 pm at Tabor’s Fireman Center for the Performing Arts in Hoyt Hall at 245 Front Street, Marion.
