Fare Thee Well410 viewsDanni Kleimann led the school staff one last time on Wednesday, June 21, for the annual RMS student send-off. This year, the day marked Kleimann’s last day at RMS as she is retiring after 31 years. Kleimann is best known for directing the Shakespeare plays at RMS and for orchestrating the student send-off every summer. The show stars Lilah Gendreau as night club singer Reno Sweeney, Eddie Gonet IV as Wall Street broker Billy Crocker, Brianna Lynch as the unhappily-engaged Hope Harcourt, Paul Kippenberger as Hope’s wealthy fiancé Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, Luke Couto as “Public Enemy Number 13” Moonface Martin, and Kate Marsden as the ostentatious Erma.

Multicultural Festival 409 viewsThe local AFS (American Field Service) held a multicultural festival on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Center School in Mattapoisett. The festival included several stations that displayed information about different cultures from around the world. Exchange students from Thailand, Panama and Northern Germany also enjoyed the festivities.
