Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride 390 viewsIt was a windy ride for the 120 participants of the 9th Annual Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride on October 4. From Westport to Falmouth, cyclists rode either the 75-mile or 35-mile route to raise funds for the Buzzards Bay Coalition, bringing in nearly $90,000. Relay for Life389 viewsOver 200 Tri-Town residents gathered to help raise money for the American Cancer Society by participating in the fifth annual Relay for Life. The Relay started at 5:00 pm on Friday June 11 and continued until 12:00 pm on Saturday. Participants walked the track at ORR throughout the night and into the next afternoon as a way to honor cancer survivors and those who lost their battle to cancer. Personalized luminaria bags lined the track, lighting the way for the participants throughout the night.
