Hearts for Hannah 699 viewsAfter Tabor graduate and Marion native Hannah Strom was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident in Florida last week while traveling with the Holy Cross Women’s Rowing team, her community back home is showing its support by displaying red and purple hearts on the doors and windows of homes, buildings, and village businesses. These two hearts hung on the door of the Marion Art Center are only two of many popping up all over Marion as a way to show support for Strom and her family

The legend of the great rock, located on private property at the corner of New Bedford Road and Vaughan Hill Road, speaks of a witch hanging at the site, and the native Indians are said to have believed that the spirit of a witch dwells inside the rock and one could hear her cackle and scream on nights of the full moon.
