Plymouth Sands Trail Riders 428 viewsOn Sunday, October 28, the Plymouth Sands Trail Riders bike club held a hare scramble at the Mattapoisett landfill. The club, which boasts over 300 members from all around New England, had over 100 riders participate in the event. Riders from teens up to seniors took off for the 40 minute races around the 2.5 mile wooded track. Proceeds from the event will be part of an annual donation the club makes to fund cystic fibrosis research. Photo by Eric Tripoli

ORR Basketball428 viewsThe ORR Lady Bulldogs Varsity Basketball team dominated Dighton-Rehoboth 50-24 Thursday night in front of a home crowd in the ORR gymnasium. The girls went on a 16-2 run in the first quarter and never gave up their lead. The team improves to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in the South Coast Conference.
