JP Powel383 viewsCompleted on September 28, 2012, JP Powel’s painting, “Open Door, Mica Mansion” is the 24x18-inch, oil-on-canvas work that first greets visitors to his collection of paintings now on display at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library. The South Dartmouth artist trained in sculpture now paints in a style he calls “imaginative realism.” His exhibit will be showing through the end of September. Photo by Mick Colageo.
