Marion Natural History Museum264 viewsMany thanks to Karen Dourdeville of Mass Audubon's Wellfleet sea turtle stranding network, for her presentation on Sea Turtles of Massachusetts. Karen spoke about the various species of sea turtles we might see in our waters, including the massive Leatherback, the Loggerhead, and the much smaller Kemp's Ridley turtle. Every winter, there are many sea turtle strandings along the Cape Cod Bay side of the Cape.
