Aquaculture Rules
At the end of the Walega-Livingstone Preserve in Mattapoisett, Brandt Island Cove is a serene view, and home to an existing aquaculture operation. At a November 1 meeting, the Mattapoisett Board of Selectmen held a public hearing for a final reading of the Aquaculture Rules and Regulations and Waterfront Management Plan. Based on public comment, the documents will be finalized and approved before the end of the year. Photo by Paul Lopes. November 3, 2011 edition
