A Mattapoisett mini-schnauzer named "Stella" is lucky to be alive this week after a pack of coyotes attacked her on January 4, 2010. Her owners, Kristen and Chris Querim, and their son Matthew, made a commotion to scare off the coyotes and then raced Stella to the vet, where she was treated for deep puncture wounds and lacerations.
