The 2008 running of the Mattapoisett Lions Club Triathlon was held at the Mattapoisett Town Beach on Sunday morning, July 13, beginning at 8:00 am. This year 173 participants attempted the triple event which began with a swim in Mattapoisett Harbor, a bike ride into the town village, and a marathon back to the Town Beach.
