Old Rochester Youth Baseball League players turn a cold, dreary Saturday morning into loads of fun by doing “the wave” during Opening Day festivities in Rochester. The day began with a parade from the Dexter Lane baseball complex down to Plumb Corner and a short distance along Mary’s Pond Road to Gifford Park, where a giant American flag hovered over the electronic scoreboard displaying the date 5-7-22, the first Opening Day for ORYB since 2019.
