Brendan Annett, the Buzzards Bay Coalition’s vice president for Watershed Protection, speaks on Tuesday to a crowd of attendees about work being done at the Mattapoisett Bogs. The 57-acre property off of Acushnet Road was retired as cranberry bogs in 2012, and Buzzards Bay Coalition is working in partnership with Mattapoisett and federal and state agencies to transform the land back to its primitive state prior to industrialization.
