Mattapoisett Animal Officer Kathy Massey was called to the area of Route 6 at the Mattapoisett/Marion line late Friday morning for what turned out to be a Tegu Dragon crossing the road. The 4-foot Tegu was transported to Mattapoisett Animal Hospital for treatment and was then brought to an undisclosed location for nourishment.
