On a recent Ned’s Point evening, two young girls appear as silhouettes come to life while the setting sun floods the gloom in radiating shades of pink, yellow and orange. Low tide gave the evening travelers a footing on the rocky shore below the lighthouse. And, in the distance visited only by the human spirit, the hope of better days ahead was promised.
