Mattapoisett held its annual tree lighting at Shipyard Park on Saturday, December 8, treating hundreds to an afternoon of festivities that included live Christmas music, free food courtesy of local restaurants, time to chill with Santa, and, of course, the excitement of the town’s tree lit up for the first time.
