Rochester resident and ORR grad Sarah Elizabeth Achorn was crowned the 65th Miss New Bedford over the weekend. She dedicates her year of service to the platform of “Imperfection: Pushing the Importance of Body Positivity in Today’s Youth.” As Miss New Bedford, the 18-year-old Leslie College student has also earned the opportunity to compete for the title of Miss Massachusetts in 2018.
